"Welcome to Markaz Al-Taqwa.
The core motivation of this project was troubled youth. youth without any recreational outlet, and community that was dispersed and disconnected.
After realizing the substantial increase of the community in Manchester, the need for an all-round Islamic community centre was realised.
The Markaz Al Taqwa Masjid & Islamic Institute was established by year 2014 Ramadan.
The centre we dreamed of is not only for the daily prayers but also a place where we could prepare the next generations to benefit themselves and the wider society.
To satisfy the needs of the growing community, the Markaz Al-Taqwa Centre is used for a wide variety of community activities e.g. lectures, conferences, Friday sermons, and youth and after school clubs."
